That is, changed CP does not apply to PM session. For example, if after
changing CP from 949 to 437, run PM program, the CP of PM program is
949. My primary CP is 949, and secondary 437.
ISTR a utility on Hobbes, that assists with changes in CP, but don't
recall its title so you would have to search for "code page change" or
some such terms.

Is it really a bug? As far as I know, this is the normal behavior, at
least in Warp 4 with CMD.EXE. The changes apply to the current command
window only and changing the PM codepage requires a reboot.
I use Warp 4 CZ with codepages 852 and 850.

I believe the cause might be that PM apps are not launched as children
of 4OS2 but rather of PMSHELL, hence the 4OS2 codepage has no effect
on them.

A progress report would be nice even if it is only once
a month and even if it only says 'still being worked on
but nothing yet'.

PS If the project has been abandoned, it would be nice
if it was posted instead of having everyone wonder about
it.

Yes, it would be encouraging to read about anything happening with this
project, as with the effort on OS/2-Unix. There was a page for news at
the web site, but I haven't been there in some time.
I see that you have been the only poster in February and there was no
response to your queries, so perhaps no one is listening and this
project is on a hiatus. Hopefully, it is only a situation of lack of
time for the programmers and the project still lives.

I am hoping that they are working on it sooo hard that
they don't have time to post anything about it. It
still would be nice to hear news (even if it is only
'hi, still here, still working on it').
