Yes, unfortunately, FreePascal is still EMX-based. EMX is obsolete now; Python and Perl seems to be up-to-date. Unfortunately, the manpower of OS/2 programmers is limited. So, someone needs to update them, but still nobody to take. Volunteers are needed for porting each program, but too little OS/2 ...

There are Perl, Python, PHP, MySQL and FreePascal ports for OS/2 (not sure about Ruby -- never used it).

Yes, unfortunately, Yoda's ftp is currently down, so the two upper links were broken. Hi, generalram. Glad to see you here :) There is a silence here, since old forum was died because of a server crash at http://os2world.com at the end of 2012. I restored everything that was possible to restore from archive.org, but not everything. Yes, we moved from sourceforge to github a year ago....
